Venus Flower Basket Sponge

This is another interesting offering. These make their own natural glass skeleton; this beautiful intricate lattice work is 100% natural. A species of shrimp often take up residence inside these sponges, where they mate for life. (They get too big to leave). These are often given as wedding gifts in Japan because they symbolize being together forever and making many babies.

I am currently out of stock on these and not sure if or when I will get them again, which is a shame because these are truly amazing, and have always been very popular.
